Jason's Commentaries
That was unexpected... a 130 points gain on the Dow... not much good earnings around the major components, unemployment claims were good in fact lowest in 5 years, ECB cuts key interest rates by 25 basis points, that sort of got market up. Volumes were at 670million shares traded on the NYSE, the bulls simpily trampled the bears. The Tech, Industrials, Healthcare were amongst the strong leaders last night. While Utilities were the only laggard. The S&P 500 inched up into the all time high while the market is very focused on the Nonfarm payrolls today which they were expecting to be bad. If the key focus at 830am ET is bad... We're likely to start the sell in May.
